After your fire surround has been installed
Every Farmington stone fireplace is hand crafted by our masons in natural limestone from our quarry in the heart of the Cotswolds. The stone has lain in the ground for thousands of years and consequently needs time to dry. Drying out typically takes a few weeks and is often uneven. Please do not worry about this process, once dry your Farmington stone fireplace surround will reflect all the unique beauty of the material it has been created from.
Caring for your fireplace
Your Farmington stone fireplace mantel surround will need very little maintenance to keep it in its original condition. From time to time the stone may be marked but this is not a problem as they can be removed with a hard scrubbing brush and soapy water.
